Standing up for what you believe in is hard for any teenager in the battleground known as high school. It's even harder in the world of Hollywood, which is where sixteen-year-old June Laurie dreams of being. Thanks to the constant training from her agent/grandmother and the support of her best friend Joseph, June is positive she's ready. But is an innocent little Mormon girl like June ever really ready to be cast as the love interest for the country's hottest star, Lukas Leighton? When June lands a role in Hollywood's most popular crime drama, Forensic Faculty, she finds herself caught off-guard by the fast-paced world of tabloids and paparazzi, and swept off her feet by her gorgeous co-star. Now June must decide what she's willing to give up to achieve the title of Hollywood starlet—or more importantly, what's too sacred to lose.

Character Interview with June Laurie

Can you tell us something about yourself?

I love anything old! Old clothes, old movies, old music. My best friend Joseph and I always wear old fashioned clothes :)

What are your hobbies? or How do you spend your free time?

I LOVE to act, and I love movies so Joseph and I will usually watch silent films together or run lines for our school plays. Although we also spend an unhealthy amount of time gorging on ice cream... probably not the healthiest of hobbies.

What was your first impression of Lukas Leighton?

He smelled amazing! And I know that makes me sound like a crazy stalker, but in my defense, I didn't actually see him when he first came in the room, I could just smell his cologne and he smelled amazing! I'm a complete fangirl when it comes to him, so you'll have to excuse any swooning that's evident in my answer!

How was it working with him in Forensic Faculty? Can you tell us something about the show?

So far it's been incredible! I've had to do some scary stunts but acting is my passion and I just feel really really lucky to be doing what I love. The show is amazing, but everyone already knows that! Joseph and I have been watching it since first started so it's kind of surreal to be on it now! Also, it's kind of funny but the people I've come to spend the most time with so far are Ryan Hex and Benjamin Hampton who don't even have the biggest roles on the show, but they're SO nice and amazingly funny. I feel like I can't even keep up when they're together. But I think the makeup girl, Candice, is my best friend on set. Even though she'd never admit to it. She's not exactly emotional.

How was Hollywood?

I only live about an hour from Hollywood so I've always gone sightseeing there, but to actually go there to film a TV show is very different. I feel like I belong a bit more I guess... I don't know... does that sound weird? It's just true.

What's your favorite movie?

This is going to make me sound like an 80 year old woman, but I love this silent film with Buster Keaton called "One Week". It's not even that long for a movie but it cracks me up every time I watch it.

What's your favorite TV show?

Forensic Faculty but I guess that was obvious :)

Any message for our dear readers?

I hope you like the episodes I'm in for Forensic Faculty! We're still filming but I think they'll be good... if I don't completely screw them up!

Any message for Lukas?

I've had a blast working with you so far and I'm sure we'll continue to have a great time together! I also hope you aren't actually reading this because I fangirled over you a few questions ago.
