Book Relay Invite: Tempest by Julie Cross (Philippines)

Thursday, November 1, 2012

To all Filipino book bloggers or even just avid readers, I have good news!

I am organizing a Tempest Book Relay! Yey! So the deets first on Tempest. :D

Tempest (Tempest, #1)
Title: Tempest (Tempest #1)

Author: Julie Cross

Genre: YA sci-fi (time travel)

The year is 2009. Nineteen-year-old Jackson Meyer is a normal guy… he’s in college, has a girlfriend… and he can travel back through time. But it’s not like the movies – nothing changes in the present after his jumps, there’s no space-time continuum issues or broken flux capacitors – it’s just harmless fun.

That is… until the day strangers burst in on Jackson and his girlfriend, Holly, and during a struggle with Jackson, Holly is fatally shot. In his panic, Jackson jumps back two years to 2007, but this is not like his previous time jumps. Now he’s stuck in 2007 and can’t get back to the future.

Desperate to somehow return to 2009 to save Holly but unable to return to his rightful year, Jackson settles into 2007 and learns what he can about his abilities.

But it’s not long before the people who shot Holly in 2009 come looking for Jackson in the past, and these “Enemies of Time” will stop at nothing to recruit this powerful young time-traveler. Recruit… or kill him.

Piecing together the clues about his father, the Enemies of Time, and himself, Jackson must decide how far he’s willing to go to save Holly… and possibly the entire world.

Sorry, this is only open to Philippine-based bloggers/readers. So the details on the tour!

I have one hardcover copy and we will pass this around. The tour will start around November 9 or 10. I only require you to sign the log sheet and write a dedication to Julie Cross on the book and of course, to post a review in your blog and/or your Goodreads profile. :) You have three days to read the book and you have to pass it to the next tour participant. It would be appreciated if you can write your reviews within one week after you read Tempest. :)

I have four bookmarks to give away to tour participants whose reviews got the most comments. So yey!

If you're interested or if you have further questions, feel free to shoot me an email at tomakunisnumberone [AT] gmail [DOT] com. :D

For those who have read Tempest and are interested in joining the upcoming Vortex tour, shoot me an email too! :)

Thank you and have a good day! :)

  1. Alright! Am excited for this! Sign me up! :D

  2. Since the Chinese utilize two characters for every factor, the outcome is consistently eight characters. This is a case of a nonsecure 24-cycle single direction hash. car keyless entry system

Comment away!

By the way, this is an awards-free blog. I appreciate it though, really. :D
